On their wedding day, the bride is abducted and forced by a prince to be his princess. The bridegroom finally finds her. The bride must choose between sacrificing her love or the bridegroom’s life; indeed, "longing is like hell, detachment is life anew". At last, the newly-weds sacrifice their lives in the fire, but are separated after death. It turns out that both become gods but the bridegroom is still unable to find his bride. The bride, now a goddess, no longer dares to cling to her love, but the bridegroom is unyielding in his search for her.
